In London, thousands of people took to the streets on Wednesday to protest after the death of black American George Floyd due to police brutality.

Thousands of activists have already taken to the streets in the British capital.

The demonstrators in London sang slogans such as “no justice, no peace” and “black lives matter” (“Black Lives Matter”).

Many of the participants had black and red mouth cloths. Shouted at the address of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Floyd died on May 25 in Minneapolis after a police officer pressed his knee to the neck for nearly nine minutes upon his arrest.

His death sparked protests across the U.S. that led to riots and violent clashes with the police in many cities.

There were also demonstrations outside the U.S., such as next to London in Amsterdam, Paris and Munich.
