Sylvester Stallone Rambo 5 Poster Confirms Film Title and Release Date. The American actor Sylvester Stallone has confirmed that a new Rambo film is being made, expecting to be released in 2019. “Something wonderful is coming!”, The 71-year-old Stallone writes on Instagram and places a Rambo V film poster.

The first Rambo action film was released in 1982 and is based on the book First Blood from 1972. In the movie John James Rambo is mistreated in an arrest, giving him flashbacks about what he experienced in the Vietnam War. It results in a cat-and-mouse game between Rambo and many police officers.

In 1985, 1988 and 2008, prosecutions appeared on the first film. Stallone played the leading role every time. He also directed the fourth part. The movie became blockbusters and yielded more than 600 million euros.

Stallone was also known as the protagonist and director of the Rocky film series. Stallone played the fictional boxer Rocky Balboa in these seven parts.
