South Korean Ex-President Park Geun-Hye Arrested in Corruption
The former president of South Korea, Park Geun-Hye, was arrested. Park is suspected of corruption and abuse of power.
It was March 10 papers were deposited during the investigation into her actions. On Thursday, a court also decided to issue an arrest warrant against her.
That was asked on Monday by investigators, who said Park freely evidence could disappear, reports Yonhap news agency.
Park Geun-Hye, leader of the Conservative Party, was the first woman to become president of the country in 2013.
In December last year, dropped off her parliament. That March 10 ratified by the Constitutional Court.
