British Regulator Fines Pharmaceuticals for Overpriced Medicines

The corona vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech appears to be effective in 79 percent of the cases against the so-called Delta virus variant discovered in India.

AstraZeneca does it a little less and catches on at 60 percent.

Therefore, the vaccines work against Delta, but less than against the Alfa variant that was first registered in England reports the British medical journal The Lancet based on preliminary research data.

Because with Alfa, it concerns 92 and 73 percent respectively.

The Delta coronavirus is not only more contagious than Alpha, but it also doubles the risk of hospitalization, according to Scottish research.
