Omicron Reaches Japan, Despite Unprecedentedly Strict Entry Restrictions

The number of people infected with the coronavirus around the world passed 10 million on Sunday.

 

This is reported in a tally from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

The United States has the most identified infections: 2.51 million, followed by Brazil with 1.31 million.

Also when it comes to corona deaths, the U.S. is at the top, with 125,539 deaths.
