WHO Looks into Mysterious Hepatitis in Especially British Children

More than 400,000 people worldwide die from coronavirus. This is reported by the American Johns Hopkins University, which is based on figures from official bodies.

The counter is at 400,013 on Sunday morning.

The coronavirus emerged in China late last year and later spread around the world. Nearly 7 million people have been diagnosed with the infection.

The actual number of corona infections is probably much higher because not all people are tested with the virus.

The United States is the worst affected country. Over 1.9 million corona infections and approximately 110,000 deaths were reported there.

Brazil follows, with over 670,000 infections and nearly 36,000 virus deaths.

That death toll is lower than in many major European countries, which have reported the deaths of tens of thousands of patients.
