The United Kingdom and Denmark will give Ukraine more money and weapons to keep up the fight against Russia.

The countries announced this on Thursday during a donor conference for Ukraine in the Danish capital Copenhagen.

London says it will send missile launchers to Ukraine. The missiles can hit targets at a distance of 80 kilometres. Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said the missiles were intended to repel Russian artillery.

Denmark says it will provide €110 million in additional financial support to Ukraine. “This war is about values on which Europe and the free world are built,” said Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. “Today, we show that we are committed to supporting Ukraine.”

Hosted by the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Ukraine, the donor conference aims to discuss long-term support for the country attacked by Russia.
