Barack Obama Sings Along to Eminem Music After Rapper Voices Support for Kamala Harris
American rapper Eminem endorsed Kamala Harris on Tuesday night in the November presidential election, earning praise from former President Barack Obama.

Eminem appeared Tuesday night at a campaign event for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in Detroit. “So look, I wrote down a few things I wanted to say,” the rapper said. “I’m here tonight for a few important reasons. As most of you know, the city of Detroit and the entire state of Michigan means a lot to me.”

“And now that we’re going into this election, we’re in the spotlight more than ever, and I think it’s important to use your voice, so I encourage everyone to go out and vote. I also think people shouldn’t be afraid to speak their minds, and I don’t think anyone wants an America where people are worried about retaliation or what people will do if you speak your mind. Vice President Harris envisions a future for this country where these and many other freedoms are protected and upheld.”

Lose Yourself
The rapper then introduced Barack Obama. The former president took the stage to the tune of Eminem’s ” Lose Yourself” and made it clear that he was a big fan. “I’ve done a lot of rallies, so I don’t usually get nervous. But after Eminem, I kind of had this feeling…” he said. The former president then went on to say that his palms were sweating, his knees were weak, his arms felt heavy, and there was vomit on his sweater. Those familiar with Eminem’s lyrics will recognize the lyrics to ” Lose Yourself” in this.

This is not the first time Eminem has supported the Democrats in the presidential election. He also supported Biden and Harris in 2020 and has been very critical of Donald Trump and the Republicans in the past year.
