There may of right this year not Valentine’s Day be celebrated in public. A resident of the country had filed a lawsuit because celebrating Valentine’s Day does not fit the Pakistani culture and religion. The judge agreed with him.
Previous year, Prime Minister Mamnoon Hussain asked the Pakistanis, please don’t go for Valentine’s Day. Religious groups persons and the biggest Pakistani Islamist party Jamaat-e Islami stated Valentine’s un-Islamic.
They found that there was to be held a day of humility instead of love. In many cities in Pakistan were still a lot of special bouquets for Valentine’s sale last year.
