The number of newly diagnosed corona infections in the last 24 hours is increasing again in Germany after a few days.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI, the German counterpart of the RIVM) reports 8007 new cases, more than double the number reported on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the RKI reported 3,883 new infections. Then there was talk of the third day of decline in a row. In total, the coronavirus has been diagnosed in more than 2.4 million people in Germany.
In the past 24 hours, an additional 422 people died in the Federal Republic of Covid-10, almost the same number as the death toll reported Tuesday.
A total of 68,740 people in Germany have died from the coronavirus.
