Massacre in Kabul Protest Victim Funeral-20 Killed in Blast

Nearly 20 people in Afghan Kabul have died today by explosions. One of the explosions was around the funeral of a senator’s son who died a day earlier in a demonstration against the government.

At the Friday’s clash between Afghan security forces and the protesters, five were killed.

The more than one thousand activists demanded the resignation of President Ashraf Ghani and Prime Minister Abdullah Abdullah.

The demonstrators believe that government leaders are responsible for last Wednesday’s assessment. Then 90 people were killed during a demonstration in a district with embassies and ministries.
