A plane of the army in Cuba has crashed into the mountains. Eight soldiers aboard did not survive the accident.
That’s what the Cuban army reports in a statement. The plane, a Russian Antonov AN-26, left at 06.38 am from an airport near the capital Havana.
About 65 kilometers away, the plane dropped into mountainous area. The army is investigating the cause of the crash.
