At least 36 Deaths from Collapse at Glencore Mine in Congo. At least 36 people died in a mining accident in Congo. This is a copper mine in the southeast of the country.

 

This mine is largely owned by the Glencore company and partially collapsed today.

According to local authorities, the killed miners would have been illegally engaged in copper extraction.

Rescue workers are looking for survivors. The cause of the collapse is unknown.
