Trump: Nobody knows if Russia is Influencing Elections

“Nobody really knows what happened.” That said President Trump about reports of anonymous sources in US intelligence services that the Kremlin might have attempted to influence American presidential elections.

“I think Russia can find out,” said Trump. “But people in other countries also manipulate. I do not want to name names, but I think there are a lot of people who mix in business.” Putin and Trump meet tomorrow for the first time at the G20 summit in Hamburg.

While Trump said it was unclear who was behind the attempts to influence the elections, he resigned to his predecessor Barack Obama, who would have allowed himself to be in the elections while he was in power.

“They say he made a mistake; I do not think he made a mistake. I think he thought Hillary Clinton would win the elections, and he said, let’s just do nothing about it.”
